Fall 2021 Farm Update-Customer Feedback Welcome!
This newsletter is going to be dedicated to explaining some of the possible upcoming changes within the next few months regarding ordering, places to buy, ect....
Okay, first, check out one of the new logo designs! (pictured above). Happy Hen Farms finally has something to be identified with, which will make our products easily distinguishable! We'll have some cool merchandise coming out soon, like hats, shirts, stickers, and more! If your not really into looking like an advertising board while wearing our merch, there'll be stuff that has our monogram (no text) on it! (below)
Given that my schedule this fall will most likely be jumbled due to college schedules, ect... I have been looking around for alternative spots to have eggs available at, especially since delivery to Ambrose will be tricky with school traffic. So far I have not received a solid "yes" or "no" answer about whether the eggs will actually be put into stores like Boise Co-op, Albertsons Marketplace, and Whole Foods.
Regarding pricing, I don't have a super accurate idea of what the prices would be in retail as of yet, but I'm guessing the end price would be about $4.40-$4.80 if stores follow a 10%-20% markup for "common" food items (at least that's what I've heard). I recently was at the store and checked out current egg prices and was quite surprised to see a large amount of "free-range," or "pastured" eggs clocking in around $6-$8 per dozen! I'm proud to be able to offer eggs of the same or even better quality for less!
If any of you have any suggestions or recommendations for where you would like to have eggs available, please feel free to let me know! I like making decisions based on feedback from you, the customer, because it keeps you happy, the hens happy, and me happy!! While not all ideas may work given certain circumstances, I still appreciate the input, so please don't hold back your ideas!
Thanks for your feedback! I'll see what I can do.... still in the works of figuring out logistics, but I'm sure I can work something out! Thanks!
