Happy Hen Farms Weekly Update: August 16

Good Evening,
This Friday I will be coming to the school from 12:30-1:00.
I will be in a white Honda Civic in the left side of the school parking lot.
If that time doesn't work for anyone, or if you want produce earlier, you are more than welcome to stop by my house for pickup!
As next week is going to be the start of school, a "Back to School Egg Sale" will be in effect for this Friday! All Large-eggs are $3/dzn this week. Medium-sized eggs are $2/dzn this week.
Vegetables:
- Tomatoes $1.50/lb
- Jalapeno's $2/lb
- Sweet Corn $1/ear (Limited time only! Get some while you can!)
- Collard Greens $1.50/bnch (10)
- Kale $2.50/bnch (10)
- Beans $2/lb
- Baby Chinese Cabbage Greens $1/hndful
- Zucchini $0.40/ea (quantities very limited this week)
- Cilantro $2/hndful
- Carrots $0.25/ea
- Beets $0.20/ea (quantities limited)
*Chinese Cabbage Greens are very mild, have a soft but crunchy small stem. Similar to Bok Choi. Great as a stand alone green, in salads, and in stir fries.
Eggs:
Since I have been gone for the past 12 days, a significant amount of eggs have piled up! As of this evening, I have about 30 dozen (large eggs), and 5 dzn of some medium sized eggs

(Some of my new chickens have started laying, that's why there are mediums. For a while now, small and medium sized egg numbers will start to climb because of the 73 new chickens. After a few months, those will become the standard sized eggs!)
By Thursday, I should have about 6.5 medium dzns and 38-40 large dzns available.
